Cheryl Kline, founder and owner of Kline Academy, is a celebrated working artist with a repertoire that extends beyond the canvas and into the very essence of teaching. With a rich background, including an Honorable Mention from the Portrait Society of America and classical realist training under the tutelage of Jan Saether at The Bruchion School, as well as at The Florence Academy of Art, my journey in art is steeped in a profound appreciation for the natural world and its representation in fine art. My academic foundation is solidified with a Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Art from Woodbury University.
Over the years, my artwork has found a place in international collections and prestigious exhibitions, like the Royal Academy of Art's Summer Exhibition. A passionate educator at heart, I am committed to sharing not only techniques but also a deep-seated reverence for our environment through art. My recent venture into authoring "A Treatise on Portrait Painting” is a testament to this dedication. In the "Earth Day Tree-Mixed Media" course, I bring this wealth of experience to inspire students to create meaningful art that celebrates and reflects upon the beauty and importance of our natural world.
