Exploring The Landscape - Understanding Sparkle and Reflections in Water

Understanding Sparkle and Reflections in Water

Lecture by Sharon Weaver on Understanding Sparkle and Reflections in Water

The values of a reflection are not as extreme as the object seen directly. Lights are darker and darks are lighter. The intensity of color is less in the reflection than in the actual object that is being reflected. Watch this video to understand how Sparkle and Refractions in Water add another atmosphere to your landscape paintings!

*This video does not include a painting demo.
